Ballena National Marine Park is located 26 kilometers from Dominical between the communities of Uvita, a growing commercially based community and Ojochal. Ojochal is the fastest growing community in the Southern Zone; a quaint, charming residential community with a plethora of restaurants and a strong European influence and is only a 10 minute drive to the south of Ballena and will soon have the first hospital in the Southern Zone.
